I am sitting here thankful tonight that my kids know God and feel His love for us. I am amazed at their prayers and the way their little minds work sometimes. Somehow prayers always leave us chuckling. Here was Ashlyn's prayer tonight:
Dear God,
Thank you for my friends and my family. Will you please lay your healing hand on my friend at school Daniel? He threw up today at lunch and we had to move tables. It smelled really bad. Then I think they put the wipes in the trashcan in our room because it smelled in there too. Can you heal him so he doesn't do that again? Thank you for the snow today. Can you make it snow more so I can make a snowman? I've been wanting to do that. I know you can do anything because you are God and I love you.
Amen
It's so hard to keep a straight face during prayer time.
